#1 How to use a laundry machine.
This is information for newcomer who never use a laundry machine before.

It was a strange experience on operating a laundry machine when I've been London in 1997 or 1998. - I couldn't remember exact year.
I've never seen a laundromat before! How did I do? I asked myself while passing by a laundromat.
A few days later, landlady brought me to a laundromat near her home to explain how to work it. The method was simply easy.
However, soon I was back home and it wasn't necessary to know about laundry machine.
Decade ....
Now and here. It's NY.
I should know how to operate a laundry machine again. A machine is almost same but I find it difficult to operate it again. Why? Maybe I'm getting old or lazy. Hahaha!(Scorn myself.)
Anyway I want to share any informations with someone who need help. Maybe you have a different culture.
You can go and ask something to owner of laundromat.
If you suffer the shame of asking it, do followings.
There are two kind of machines in laundromat : one is a washer and another is dryer.
Following are all washers.

1. Load washer. It means you open a drum door and put your clothes into a drum.
Do not be full of clothes in drum. It is better to put clothes half of drum or 3/4 depends on pollution.
2. Shut door securely. Close door tightly.

I should know how to operate a laundry machine again. A machine is almost same but I find it difficult to operate it again. Why? Maybe I'm getting old or lazy. Hahaha!(Scorn myself.)
Anyway I want to share any informations with someone who need help. Maybe you have a different culture.

If you suffer the shame of asking it, do followings.
There are two kind of machines in laundromat : one is a washer and another is dryer.
Following are all washers.

Do not be full of clothes in drum. It is better to put clothes half of drum or 3/4 depends on pollution.
2. Shut door securely. Close door tightly.
3. Turn selector knob to desired wash program. There are usually 4 sort of washing plan : Cold water wash, warm water wash, hot water wash, delicate wash for cotton, wool and so on. You can choose one of them. Normally warm wash is prefered.
4. Pour detergent, bleach and fabric softener into compartments on top of machine.
It's very important in case of me. Detergent has two kind of material - powder type and liquid type.
If you have powder type detergent, pour it into each compartments before machine starts, or you have liquid type detergent, pour it into each compartments on top of the machine beginning of proper wash cycle. (never put liquid type detergent into compartment before machine starts)
5. insert only 25 cents coins to start machine. It costs usually from $1.5 to $2.5 per machine and take about 30 minutes to finish washing.
Operating dryer is easier than operating washer. You put your wet clothes into dryer and insert only ONE 25 cent coin to dry your clothes. Need more dry time, insert another coin after finishing dries.
Attention : You should read instruction on the machine carefully. This is only guide lines for new operators.
Is it easy? Yes. But you feel some difficult if it is your first action. Try it.
